Job summary

Lvi-Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Hampton, VA heavy civil division. You will oversee infrastructure, utility, and earthwork projects, coordinating with field teams and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has a 3+ year background in heavy civil construction, with expertise in underground utilities, grading, and site development. This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Superintendent in heavy civil construction.
• Strong background in underground utilities, earthwork, grading, and site development.
• Experience with water, sewer, storm drain, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with project management and cost tracking software preferred.
• Stable pipeline of heavy civil and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction through completion
• Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams
• Track project costs, change orders, and overall project performance
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Maintain communication with clients, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
