Job summary

Orion is seeking an Equipment Operator to support field construction operations on marine and heavy civil projects. You will operate earth-moving machinery, bulldozers, trench excavators, and road graders to move materials and prepare job sites, working alongside Crane Operators, Pile Drivers, Carpenters, Welders, and Laborers.

This role requires the ability to work extended shifts (8–12 hours) with weekend hours as needed, a commitment to safety, and the discipline to follow procedures and

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience operating earth-moving equipment.
• Understanding of construction principles and procedures.
• Ability to work long shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Fastens attachments and operates earth-moving equipment.
• Performs inspections before and after daily operations.
• Greases and maintains equipment as per manufacturer guidelines.
• Reports malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
• Maintains equipment and tools to ensure long-lasting use.
