Job summary

Superior Construction is seeking skilled laborers for heavy civil, roadway, or bridge projects. The role requires comfort with heights and working on site safety, with a focus on environmental protection and delivering challenging infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include housekeeping, material handling, road/bridge work, and assisting foremen. Expect physically demanding tasks, potential traffic-control duties, and adherence to OSHA policies on a field-based site.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be reliable/have reliable transportation
• Construction industry experience preferred
• Takes full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects
• Maintains a clean and well-organized job site: properly store consumable materials, picks up debris and waste for proper disposal, maintains equipment appearance, and secures/stores small tools and supplies
• Road widening, highway, road/street or bridge build and rehabilitation projects
• Helping Foremen and other Supervisors as needed
• Laborers may be required to assist with traffic control and/or flagging operations
• Properly secure and store all tools, equipment, and materials at the end of each work day
