Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is a leading heavy civil construction and materials company actively shaping infrastructure across the region.

Students will join a crew or plant team to assist in planning, scheduling and execution of projects, receiving on-the-job training and exposure to large scale work. Typical duties include coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, preparing work plans, handling contracts and daily reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mining & Materials Engineering, Business Management, or another engineering related degree.
• Must be a team player with a collaborative attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating subcontractors on a heavy civil project.
• Project Schedule Management.
• Preparing project plans and change orders as needed.
• Daily reporting and material ordering.
• Contract management support.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and execution of assignments.
• Support crew, project or plant teams for 3–6 month assignments.
