Responsibilities

• Operate a crawler or rubber-tired excavator mounted with an excavator bucket.
• Signal truck drivers to position loads and coordinate material handling.
• Take actions to avoid hazards such as utilities, other equipment, workers, and falling objects.
• May oil, grease, or service the machine and perform basic maintenance.
• Make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed.
