Job summary

Capstone Search Advisors is seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager for heavy civil construction in the Ohio Valley region. The role covers pursuing opportunities, preparing estimates, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and supporting construction execution.

The ideal candidate has strong earthwork, scheduling, and project management skills, collaborating with clients, subs, and field leadership to deliver cost-effective plans on time.

Qualifications

• Five+ years estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Experience with CPM scheduling and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble BC, AGTEK or similar.
• Experience with cost-based estimates using HeavyBid or B2W.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships and identify opportunities for heavy civil projects.
• Prepare estimates, develop proposals, negotiate projects, and support execution.
• Develop CPM schedules and ensure alignment with production rates and durations.
• Prepare detailed proposals, schedules, and exhibits for pre-bid and post-bid meetings.
• Coordinate with field leadership, clients, subs, and suppliers.
