Job summary

S.E.T., Inc. is seeking an Estimator in Lowellville, OH to lead estimating efforts for heavy highway, bridge reconstruction, and underground utility work. You will develop competitive bid packages, analyze costs, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to win bids.

The ideal candidate has a degree in construction management or civil engineering and 3–5 years of estimating experience, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Construction Estimating experience.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Bluebeam.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand civil construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans and specifications to determine project scope.
• Perform detailed digital quantity takeoffs for civil and infrastructure work.
• Develop and assemble complete bid proposals and cost estimates.
• Prepare scope sheets and ensure bid accuracy and compliance.
