Job summary

RemX is seeking a motivated Recruiter to support a heavy civil construction contractor. You will recruit field and project personnel for earthwork, utilities, demolition, and site development projects, building a strong pipeline of skilled construction talent.

You will source a wide range of roles, coordinate interviews and onboarding, and collaborate with project managers to forecast hiring needs, while contributing to overall retention and workforce planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, or workforce development.
• Construction recruiting experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of heavy civil construction, utilities, earthwork, demolition, or site development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit field and project personnel for current and future projects.
• Source operators, laborers, pipe crews, foremen, superintendents, mechanics, surveyors, project engineers, and project managers.
• Build candidate pipelines through job boards, referrals, social media, trade schools, and industry contacts.
• Coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding, and pre-employment requirements.
• Partner with project managers and leadership to forecast hiring needs.
• Attend hiring events and maintain recruiting activity tracking.
• Support employee retention and workforce planning initiatives.
