Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled CDL Driver for our Heavy Civil team in Golden Meadow, LA. You will operate tractor-trailers and other heavy trucks to move construction materials and equipment, while performing inspections and ensuring DOT compliance.

You must have a valid Class A CDL, at least 2 years of experience, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a physical. Excellent communication and safety commitment are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• DOT knowledge and ability to maintain logbooks.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks (tractor-trailers, dump, lowboy) to transport materials and equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Secure loads using chains, binders, tarps, etc.
• Maintain logs and records; communicate with dispatch and team.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and assist with loading/unloading.
• Adhere to safety policies and work in varying conditions, including nights/weekends.
