Job summary

Lusternational is seeking Computer-aided Drafting and Design (CADD) Specialists of varying levels to support large, complex heavy civil programs across highways, bridges, rail, aviation, and water/ wastewater projects. You’ll verify submissions against CADD standards and maintain controlled drawing sets for defensible records.

This role is part of a talent pool for upcoming needs; opportunities will arise as projects develop and candidates are activated in the system.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in drafting and design technology or related field.
• 5+ years of CADD experience on large heavy civil projects.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and topographic surveys.
• Experience with drawing revision control and submittal tracking.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, Revit, and Bentley software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review drawing sets against CADD standards and log nonconformances.
• Check plan sets for completeness and cross-referencing before review.
• Maintain controlled drawing sets with revisions and transmittal logs.
• Develop drawings and exhibits in CADD to support the program.
• Verify that as-built drawings reflect approved changes before they enter the record.
• Coordinate files across adjacent contracts to maintain plan set consistency.
• Manage CADD files in the program's common data environment.
