Job summary

Lusternational is seeking Computer-aided Drafting and Design (CADD) Specialists of varying skill levels to support large, complex heavy civil infrastructure programs including highways, bridges, transit, aviation, and water/wastewater projects. You will verify submissions against CADD standards, keep drawing sets current, and build exhibits and figures to support decision making.

This role is part of a talent pool for upcoming opportunities, with candidates activated in the pool when needs

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in drafting/CADD field.
• 5+ years CADD experience on large, heavy-civil projects.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specs, and interpret surveys.
• Experience maintaining control drawing sets and document management across multiple teams.
• Proficiency with listed industry tools and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Review drawing sets against CADD standards and log nonconformances.
• Check plan set submissions for completeness and cross-referencing.
• Maintain controlled drawing sets with revision control and transmittals.
• Develop drawings and exhibits in CADD to support design and change documentation.
• Verify as-builts reflect approved changes and field directives.
• Coordinate files across contracts to ensure consistency across design teams.
• Manage CADD files in common data environment with check-in/out controls.
