Job summary

Webber - Crawler Tractor Bulldozer Operator - Heavy Civil in Society Hill, SC is seeking an experienced operator to safely run bulldozers for ditching, grading, and site preparation on heavy civil projects. You will work under a Foreman and coordinate with truck drivers to move dirt and materials.

Requirements include English communication, high school diploma or GED preferred, and 3+ years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Three or more years related construction experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozer safely to cut ditches, slopes, grades, clear brush, shape, and dress slopes.
• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.
• Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, equipment, workers, and falling objects.
• Perform maintenance procedures on equipment such as oiling, greasing, and other service to the machine.
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment.
