Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a skilled bulldozer operator for its heavy civil construction projects in the United States. You will safely operate a bulldozer to cut ditches, shape slopes, and perform earthmoving tasks on active sites, coordinating with truck drivers and crew.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of related construction experience, strong English communication, and the physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather. High school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of construction experience required.
• Ability to operate bulldozer safely and efficiently.
• English communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozer safely and efficiently.
• Cut ditches, slopes, grades, clear brush, shape, and dress slopes and other earthmoving activities.
• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.
• Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, equipment, workers, and falling objects.
• Perform maintenance procedures on equipment such as oiling, greasing, and other service to the machine.
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment.
• Other unlisted duties will be assigned.
