Job summary

Mayfran International in Mayfield, Ohio is seeking a Heavy Belt Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble heavy steel belts and related components, following bills of materials and supervisor instructions.

This role offers 1st shift 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, starting pay $21.37 per hour with a 90-day increase to $22.17, and benefits starting day one, including vacation, health clinic, gym and 401(k) with matching.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of shop math and decimals/fractions.
• Ability to read and interpret bills of materials and instructions.
• Willingness to operate hoists, cranes and basic hand tools safely.
• Commitment to quality, accuracy and timely production.
• Compliance with safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble steel belts and roller blocks by following BOMs and supervisor instructions.
• Use hoist or crane to move heavy parts and operate belt sander to finish pins.
• Measure conveyors and prepare crates/boxes for shipment.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report equipment faults.
