Tate Inc. in Pocahontas, AR is seeking a Heavy Assembly, 1st Shift worker to operate and maintain machinery for assembling steel units in the Heavy Assembly department. The role offers permanent, full-time employment on-site with strong safety and quality expectations.

You will learn equipment across the department, perform production reporting, and work in a team-driven environment with a focus on quality and compliance. Competitive hourly rate and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to work in a team environment with diverse workforce.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly for an 8-hour shift.
• Use calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains machinery to assemble steel units in Heavy Assembly.
• Assembles containment doors, partitions, and products per specs.
• Detects faulty materials and reports findings to Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Completes production reporting and quality paperwork accurately.
• Uses proper equipment and hand-jacks to move material safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Maintains housekeeping and follows safety procedures.
• Complies with SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and safety manuals.
