Job summary

Tate Inc. in Pocahontas, Arkansas, is hiring an entry-level Assembler to operate and maintain machinery in the Heavy Assembly department. You will learn equipment across the department and contribute to building steel units.

You will work with team members, follow SOPs, and perform quality checks while prioritizing safety and accurate production records. This role offers growth opportunities within our manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively for an 8-hour shift in heavy assembly.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, feeler gauges.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains machinery to assemble steel units.
• Assembles containment doors, partitions, and other products per specs.
• Detects faulty materials and reports findings to Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Completes production reporting and quality paperwork accurately.
• Uses proper equipment and hand-jacks to move or store product or material.
• Follows safety procedures and work instructions and maintains housekeeping.
