Shaw Industries is hiring a Manufacturing Manager to lead the Heatset Department at Plant 65, ensuring Safety, Quality and Productivity KPI targets are met while holding associates accountable to all rules and regulations. The Department Manager will motivate, build, and empower team members through effective leadership, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence at the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing with 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading supervisors/engineers and driving continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safe and effective management of all department employees.
• Provide leadership in safety, quality, productivity, and cost with continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop supervisors and engineers using the PX process.
• Set strategic direction for the plant's departmental team.
• Drive priorities via daily tier meetings and report departmental performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to support plant success.
• Set expectations, hold individuals accountable, and ensure consistency across shifts.
