Role Description

The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in San Antonio, TX. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing accurate troubleshooting, completing preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The technician interacts directly with customers, explaining findings, recommending solutions, and providing clear, professional service. The role also involves documenting work performed, maintaining tools and company vehicles, and collaborating with team members to deliver consistent, dependable service.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of electricity and electrical components as they relate to HVAC systems, with safe work practices.
• Experience with preventive maintenance for heating and air conditioning equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Understanding of basic plumbing concepts relevant to HVAC and home comfort systems.
• Current EPA certification (or ability to obtain) for handling refrigerants in compliance with regulations.
