Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Albuquerque, NM. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting heating and air conditioning systems, performing maintenance and repair tasks, and completing preventive maintenance services on residential HVAC equipment. The technician will respond to service calls, inspect systems for safety and performance, recommend solutions, and document work performed. This role also involves communicating clearly with customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and adhering to company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, maintenance & repair, and preventive maintenance for residential HVAC systems.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction, with the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally in customers’ homes.
• Relevant certifications such as EPA certification for handling refrigerants, and familiarity with applicable codes and safety standards.
• Previous experience as an HVAC service technician or in a similar mechanical or technical role.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, with the ability to travel locally to job sites in Albuquerque, NM.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete accurate service documentation.
• Physical capability to work in varied environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor settings, and to lift equipment as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school training, apprenticeship, or HVAC-related certifications are preferred.
