Industrial Service Technician Job Description

This is a full-time role for an Industrial Service Technician based in Plaquemine, Louisiana. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and air conditioning equipment, diagnosing malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, and advising customers on system improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in HVAC or related field is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• TWIC certification is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism in customer interactions
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local HVAC codes and regulations
• Physical ability to climb ladders, work with hand tools, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate lifts
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Experience with Refrigeration is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Proficiency in refrigerant evacuation, recovery, and charging
• Skill in brazing and welding
