Role Description

The Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Ocala, FL. This technician is responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC systems, performing maintenance and repair on residential and light commercial equipment, and completing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. Day-to-day tasks include responding to service calls, inspecting units, identifying issues, replacing parts, and verifying proper operation. The technician will interact directly with customers, explain findings and recommended solutions, and maintain accurate service records. This role also involves adhering to safety standards, following manufacturer guidelines, and supporting the team in delivering prompt, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Troubleshooting HVAC systems, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and performance issues.
• Knowledge of Maintenance & Repair practices for heating and air conditioning equipment, including component replacement and system adjustments.
• Experience with Preventive Maintenance, such as routine inspections, cleaning, and performance checks to extend equipment life.
• EPA certification (or ability to obtain) for handling refrigerants and compliance with environmental regulations.
