Mid-FLA Heating and Air in Ocala, FL is seeking a dependable HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on residential and light commercial systems to ensure customer comfort.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience, EPA Universal Certification preferred (or ability to obtain), excellent communication, and a clean Florida driver's license; company vehicle, health benefits, PTO, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of HVAC maintenance or service experience preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and maintenance best practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups on air conditioning and heating systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify wear, leaks, or potential issues.
• Replace or clean filters, inspect electrical connections, and verify refrigerant levels.
• Communicate maintenance findings clearly and professionally to customers.
• Recommend repairs or system improvements to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
• Maintain detailed and accurate service documentation and reports.
• Ensure company vehicle, tools, and equipment are maintained in safe working order.
