Role Description

The Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician is a full-time rolw based in Greenwood, IN. This technician will diagnose and troubleshoot residential and light commercial HVAC systems, perform repairs, and complete scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation. Daily responsibilities include responding to service calls, inspecting equipment, replacing components, and documenting work performed in a clear and accurate manner. The technician will communicate with customers about findings, recommend solutions, and promote customer satisfaction through professional, courteous service. The role also involves collaborating with team members, following safety and regulatory standards, and supporting installation projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills, including identifying and resolving HVAC system issues efficiently.
• Experience with maintenance & repair and preventive maintenance on heating and air conditioning equipment.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction, with professional communication and service-oriented behavior.
• EPA certification (or ability to obtain) for handling refrigerants and adherence to applicable regulations.
• Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to customer locations.
• Ability to work on-site, lift moderate weights, and perform tasks in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Previous HVAC service experience or relevant technical training; trade school or HVAC certification is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and stay current with industry best practices and technologies.
