Job summary

Transforming Age's Heathers Manor in Crystal, MN seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time position with one weekday plus every other Saturday and Sunday and on-call duties. The role focuses on building relationships with residents and collaborating with a supportive team to provide high-quality care.

You will support assessments and admissions, ensure accurate charting and medications, and uphold DHS regulations while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of an accredited RN Program.
• Have an active RN license in the state, in good standing.
• Experience in a Nursing Home (preferred but not required).
• Flexible to work occasional weekend/holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of DHS Regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Background check, drug screen, and other pre-employment screenings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and effective care and treatments to residents.
• Support the DON with assessments, admissions, and other duties.
• Ensure residents' comprehensive needs are met in coordination with the nursing team.
• Review routines, calendar of events and resident needs.
• Ensure medications and supplies are ordered, in stock and counted.
• Ensure all charting and record keeping is accurate and complete.
• Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of the Meadows of Napa Valley.
• Support the Culture of Excellence in all areas of responsibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a Part-time position (1 week day/ every other Saturday and Sunday, and on call).

Registered Nurses:

What you need to succeed:

• Be a graduate of an accredited RN Program
• Have an active RN license in the state, in good standing
• Experience in a Nursing Home (Assisted Living or Long-Term Care preferred, but not required)
• Have flexibility, able to work the occasional weekend/holiday as needed.
• Have knowledge of DHS Regulations
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well and collaboratively with team members and external individuals.
• Completion of a background check, drug screen. Other pre-employment screenings may include physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

• On occasion, may need to push/pull/support up to 75 lbs.
