Job summary

Transforming Age is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for Heather Manor in Crystal, MN. This Part-time position is one weekday per week plus every other Saturday and Sunday, and on call.

You will provide compassionate care, support the DON with assessments and admissions, and help manage medications and charting in a warm senior living environment. A graduate of an accredited RN program with an active MN license is required; long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of an accredited RN Program.
• Have an active RN license in the state, in good standing.
• Experience in a Nursing Home preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and effective care and treatments to our incredible residents.
• Support the DON (Director of Nursing) with assessments, admissions, and other duties as assigned.
• Ensure residents comprehensive needs are met, in accordance with the Parkshore nursing team.
• Review routines, calendar of events and resident needs.
• Ensure medications and supplies are ordered, in stock and counted.
• Ensure all charting and record keeping is accurate and complete.
• Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of the Meadows of Napa Valley.
• Support our Culture of Excellence in all areas of responsibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We have a wonderful opportunity for Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about providing high-quality care in a warm and welcoming senior living community. What you need to succeed:

• Be a graduate of an accredited RN Program
• Have an active RN license in the state, in good standing
• Experience in a Nursing Home (Assisted Living or Long-Term Care preferred, but not required)
• Have flexibility, able to work the occasional weekend/holiday as needed.
• Have knowledge of DHS Regulations
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well and collaboratively with team members and external individuals.
• Completion of a background check, drug screen.
• Other pre-employment screenings may include physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

On occasion, may need to push/pull/support up to 75 lbs.
