Job summary

Aerobraze, a division of Wall Colmonoy, operates a 90,000-square foot facility in Cincinnati, OH, seeking a Furnace Operator to join a dedicated team in aerospace manufacturing. You will help control heat treat furnaces, prepare parts for processing, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and several years of related experience, with preference for vacuum furnace experience and heat treatment knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional work experience or training preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience operating a vacuum furnace for heat treatment preferred.
• Knowledge of heat treating processes preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for processing; load and unload furnaces, fixtures, baskets, etc.
• Troubleshoot unexpected issues and notify supervisor.

Aerobraze, a division of Wall Colmonoy manufactures turbine engine components like turbine nozzles, turbine vanes, complete turbine engines (both manufacturing and repair), diffusers, honeycomb seals and segments, heat shields, and parts for various turbomachinery.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Control and monitor heat treat furnaces while following written instructions.


• Prepare parts for processing; load and unload furnaces, fixtures, baskets, etc


• Ability to troubleshoot unexpected issues and/or notify supervisor.


• Practice and promote safety and good housekeeping.

Minimum Qualifications and Attributes:

• High School degree or equivalent


• Minimum of 5-year professional work experience and/or training preferred.


• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a vacuum furnace for heat treat preferred.


• Knowledge of heat treating processes preferred.
