Job summary

Aerobraze, a division of Wall Colmonoy, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a Furnace Operator to support heat-treat production of turbine components. The role involves controlling and monitoring heat treat furnaces, preparing parts for processing, loading fixtures, and maintaining safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 5 years of professional experience or training preferred, plus experience operating a vacuum furnace for heat treatment

Qualifications

• Experience with heat-treat processes is preferred.
• Vacuum furnace operation experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor heat treat furnaces following written instructions.
• Prepare parts for processing; load and unload furnaces, fixtures, baskets, etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot unexpected issues and notify supervisor as needed.
• Practice and promote safety and good housekeeping.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Control and monitor heat treat furnaces while following written instructions
• Prepare parts for processing; load and unload furnaces, fixtures, baskets, etc
• Ability to troubleshoot unexpected issues and/or notify supervisor

Minimum Qualifications and Attributes:

• High School degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5-year professional work experience and/or training preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a vacuum furnace for heat treat preferred
• Knowledge of heat treating processes preferred
• Forklift certification is a plus
