Bodycote plc in Roselle, NJ is seeking a Heat Treater C to support essential heat treatment operations under the supervision of the Production Manager. The role focuses on processing parts per customer specs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Based in a safety-sensitive, heavy industrial environment, you will load/unload furnaces, monitor equipment, and assist coworkers as needed. Eligibility includes ITAR compliance and a valid forklift certification; overtime and weekend shifts

Qualifikationen

• US citizens or permanent residents due ITAR requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum six months of heat treating experience.
• Must have working knowledge of metallurgy and temperatures.
• Overtime or any shift may be required, including weekends.
• Forklift certification must be obtainable and maintained.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Aufgaben

• Assist with heat treating operations and monitoring per procedures.
• Load and unload furnaces, bins, fixtures and related equipment.
• Identify and report unusual problems to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the shop.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
• Safely handle customer inventory to prevent loss or damage.
