Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks a Heat Treat Operator / Finishing Tech to join our manufacturing team on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will operate heat treat furnaces and an ultrasonic degreaser, follow operation sheets, and maintain quality records including calibration checks.

You will perform inspections, set up processes like shot peen and airflow, and input serials into the heat treat database while ensuring safety and compliance with EHS policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret operation sheets and charts.
• Experience with ultrasonic cleaning and heat treat processes preferred.
• Must pass visual acuity test and repetitive motion requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate heat treat furnaces and ultrasonic degreaser per operation sheet.
• Set up and run furnaces to operation sheet requirements.
• Perform special processes such as shot peen, waterflow, airflow as required.
• Inspect materials to operation sheet requirements.
• Input serial numbers into heat treat data base and maintain quality records.
• Split routers and perform 6S audits; support end of shift cleanup.

ResponsibilitiesJoin our growing team!We are currently seeking to fill the role ofHeat Treat Operator / Finishing Techon 2ndand 3rdshift.SUMMARY:Heat Treat Operator / finishing tech will operate heat treat furnaces and ultrasonic degreaser. Follow operational sheets and maintain all quality records including calibration checksJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure sure parts are clean and have been ultrasonic cleaned and dried if required, prior to loading into the furnace.Set up and run furnaces to operation sheet requirements.Execute the production schedule for heat treat.Verify heat treat charts.Perform special process certified operations such as shot peen, waterflow, airflow etc.…as required.Inspect materials to operation sheet requirements.Set-up and run airflow, waterflow and shot peen.Perform inspections of high visual concentration.Resolve problems as required; contact Quality Engineer or Special Processes Engineer as needed.Maintain all quality records.Unpack and load material, review and replace totes and liners if necessary.Split routers.Perform 6S audits and other area requirements including end of shift clean up.Input serial list numbers into heat treat data base.Follow policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook.Actively participate, promote and comply with all EHS, Quality programs and policies.Maintain FPI Level I and or Visual Inspection certification.Maintain acceptable attendance.Perform all other job duties as assigned.**Minimum starting salary*$21.00Shift differentials:2nd shift/ $2.00, 3rd shift $3.00 - Ability to train on 1st shift for several months if required.External hires are eligible for a$3,000sign on bonus.Benefit package includes:Medical, With coverage on day one!Dental, Visual, Vacation, and more.Excellent 401K matchGrowth PotentialReferral Bonus ProgramOvertime incentivesQuality StatementThe products we manufacture are used in important industries.
