Job summary

Unytite, Inc. is seeking a Heat Treat Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. You will operate and monitor heat treatment furnaces to ensure parts meet tight specifications, perform setups, and collaborate with engineers to optimize processes.

You’ll handle measuring tools, maintain equipment, and move materials with a forklift. A high school diploma and at least 1 year in manufacturing are required, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

A few things You’ll Do...

• Operate and monitor heat treatment furnaces and ensure parts are exact to specifications requirements.
• Perform machine set ups and tear downs, with the use of tools, and materials for each job run.
• Inspect parts for quality accuracy using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Utilize a forklift to move material to and from the workstation.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to troubleshoot and optimize processes.

• At least 1 year in manufacturing is required.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, such as fixing machinery, climbing and driving forktrucks.
• Strong mathematical skill is a must.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
