Job summary

Aerospace Aluminum Processing LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking a Heat Treat Operator for first shift. The role operates heat treat furnaces, processes parts, and follows written instructions and quality procedures to ensure accuracy and safety. Training is available for candidates without direct experience.

Typical schedule is first shift 6:30 p.m.–2:00 p.m. with training for 1–2 months; accommodations may be discussed during training. Pay is $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Heat treating or manufacturing experience preferred; training is available for candidates without direct experience.
• Ability to follow written instructions, pay close attention to detail, and use basic math and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate heat treat furnaces and set up loads according to work instructions.
• Attach load thermocouples and monitor processing requirements.
• Read, follow, and accurately complete job paperwork.
• Inspect parts, perform hardness testing, and straighten parts as trained and directed.
• Make process adjustments within established procedures and with appropriate guidance.
• Follow quality, safety, and shop floor procedures.
• Clean parts and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist the Shift Lead and other operators as needed.
