Job summary

Universal Alloy Corporation invites applications for a Vertical Heat Treat Operator on 1st shift. You will operate heat-treat ovens to process high-strength structural components used in aerospace applications worldwide, contributing to parts that enable flight.

The position offers starting pay of $20.00/hour with potential to reach $22.11/hour after completing level 1 (~90 days). Benefits include PTO after 90 days, health/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) with up to 10% employer match, paid

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong communication and decision‑making skills
• Ability to operate various machines

Responsibilities

• Operate heat treat ovens for specified metallurgical practices
• Build loads for upender
• Document time, temperature, and weights of loads
• Understand lift/tower, furnace/oven, and quench/rinse
• Inspect products for major defects
• Promote and practice workplace safetyPerform additional duties as assigned
