Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is hiring a Heat Treat Operator in Brea, CA, on-site. You will operate and control machinery, fabricate parts per blueprints, and ensure precision with micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

Heat Treat Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate and control various types of machinery and equipment, such as cranes, to perform specific tasks

• Read and interpret blueprints to understand the requirements of each project
• May be required to participate in regular department trainings and assist in training new department employees

• Must be able to lift/move 30 lbs. (may not exceed per EHS policies)
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Reaching above and below, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and bending.
• Need to be able to wear safety steel toe shoes and walk around shop floor environment as needed.
• Be able to remove dangling jewelry for shop floor assigned tasks, and wear hearing protection as needed.
