Job summary

Austin Industrial is looking for a Heat Treat Maintenance Technician II to maintain and troubleshoot heat-treating equipment and related systems in industrial settings. You will ensure safe, efficient operation and adherence to process specifications.

The role requires experience in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, plus familiarity with temperature-control instrumentation and safety interlocks.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with control instrumentation, sensors, calibration, and temperature-control systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot and maintain heat-treat furnaces, ovens, burners, drives, motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and heat-treatment equipment.
