Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an onsite Heat Treat Manager to oversee a captive heat treat and fastener production in Phoenix, AZ. This role focuses on maintaining 24/5 operations, supervising up to eight operators, scheduling, and ensuring high-quality parts delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years' experience operating endothermic batch quench furnaces, Rockwell hardness testing skills, and a reliable attendance record; MTI certification is a plus as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years' experience operating endothermic batch integral quench furnaces.
• Rockwell hardness testing skills required.
• Reliability in attendance and MTI certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing production of 24/5 operations.
• Manage up to 8 operators.
• Scheduling and planning.
• Ensure top-notch quality and timely running of parts.
• Program recipes.
• Training and development of staff.
• Provide reports to upper management.
