Job summary

Bodycote, based in Haltom City, is seeking an Inspector C to perform essential heat-treatment tests and record results under the direction of the Quality Manager to meet customer specifications.

You will read blueprints, complete conformance paperwork, conduct shop audits, maintain safety and housekeeping, and help protect customer inventory while working a 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in the heat treating industry or related field.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and basic physical.
• Working knowledge of testing equipment and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform hardness and other tests and record results.
• Complete conformance and related paperwork; perform shop audits/reviews.
• Report deviations or irregularities to supervisor/management.
• Promote safety and good housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as designated by the position.
• Care and treatment of customers’ inventory and perform duties safely to prevent loss or damage.
• Report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, and accept feedback.
