Job summary
Aira is seeking a Heating System Design Engineer to design high-quality air source heat pump installations for domestic properties. You will conduct site surveys, gather data, and ensure installations meet customer and company requirements.
You’ll stay current with heat pump guidance, building regulations, and efficiency standards, ensuring compliant, efficient solutions for our customers. This role requires hands-on design work and strong communication with clients.
Qualifications
- Design high quality air source heat pump installations for domestic properties.
- Generate heat loss calculations from survey data and quotes.
- Stay up to date with heat pump tech, regulations, and building rules.
Responsibilities
- Attend customer properties in your designated area.
- Conduct site surveys and collect data for installation requirements.
- Perform room-by-room heat loss assessments.
- Determine radiator replacements and communicate with customers.
- Address technical queries from customers.
- Explain price changes and obtain customer approval.
- Create a materials list for installation.
