Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) for full-time day shifts (7:00 am–7:00 pm) in Kentucky. This role supports residents with medication administration and daily living activities under the direction of the Director of Nursing, ensuring safety and individualized care plans.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current and active state-approved medication aide/technician certification is required.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Aufgaben

• Provide direct resident care services including medicine distribution per plan of care.
• Observe residents and report changes to physicians, health care proxies, and supervisors.
• Document observations, red flags, incidents, interventions, and medication administration details.
• Communicate shift information to the next shift and ensure timely documentation by staff.
• Administer and document medications following the five rights.
• Support activities of daily living and restorative nursing as needed.
• Promote resident safety and well-being and encourage participation in activities.
