Job summary

Ohio State University Hospital is seeking an Associate Nurse Manager for Heart and Vascular Care (Rotational). The ANM will assist in planning, directing and evaluating patient care in a 24-hour setting under the Nurse Manager, guiding staff and improving unit operations.

Qualified applicants hold a nursing degree, Ohio RN licensure, 2–3 years of clinical experience, and nursing administration certification or a plan to obtain it. Leadership and collaboration across departments are essential.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing required; Masters in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Two to three years of clinical experience in patient care setting required.
• Certification in nursing administration or area of clinical expertise; or certification must be achieved within eligibility timeline.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and related responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, organization and evaluation of patient care operations 24/7 as required.
• Support a nursing professional practice model and operationalize the center’s mission and goals.
• Coach and evaluate the work performance of patient care staff under the Nurse Manager.
• Collaborate with other patient care departments affecting patient care operations.
