SBH Foods, a Popeyes franchisee, is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead Heart of House operations, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. You will train cooks, manage inventory, and collaborate with leadership to optimize restaurant performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, developing team skills, and advancing within kitchen operations. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred; leadership experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail regarding food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with hot equipment.
• Excellent communication and positive teamwork skills.
• Ability to train, coach, and lead others effectively.
• Willingness to learn and master all Heart of House operations.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all Heart of House operations to ensure consistent, high-quality kitchen execution.
• Prepare and cook menu items following Popeyes’ authentic recipes and standards.
• Maintain excellent food quality, presentation, freshness, and portion control.
• Train, coach, and support kitchen team members to build skills and confidence.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in all kitchen and storage areas.
• Manage inventory, food rotation, and product organization to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with restaurant leadership to address kitchen needs and optimize operations.
• Support the team during busy periods by working multiple stations as needed.
