Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Heart & Lung Transplant unit (J82) to support the Heart/Lung Transplant team. The nurse manager will supervise unit clinical operations, provide patient care, and coordinate with staff to ensure excellence in care delivery.

This caregiver works 40 hours/week, two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts, with 7am-3pm, 11am-7pm, or 3pm-11pm options and 7am-7pm on 12-hour days.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a relevant setting.
• Current state RN licensure and ACLS/BLS as required.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and coordinate unit clinical operations.
• Provide direct patient care.
• Facilitate communication among caregivers and other departments.
• Review major operational patient care issues with Nurse Managers.
• Conduct caregiver evaluations and address performance issues.
• Interview and orient new caregivers.
• Prepare staffing schedules for adequate coverage.
• Support quality improvement projects and research initiatives.
• Assume Nurse Manager responsibilities in their absence.
