About This Role

As an RN in the Heart & Lung Transplant unit at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide specialized care to solid organ transplant patients and those awaiting heart transplants. This role is ideal for dedicated nurses looking to make a significant impact in patient care.

Highlights

• Pay: $33.50 - $53.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Schedule: Day/Night rotation, 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. with weekend and holiday requirements

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
• Experience: One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
• Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
