Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant for the Heart & Lung Transplant Unit on the Main Campus in Cleveland. You will work days, 7:00am to 7:30pm, joining a team of caregivers dedicated to world-class patient care and research.

This role supports the transplant unit’s specialized needs and requires compassion, teamwork, and clinical readiness. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification; nursing students may substitute clinical rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification includes High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross is required.
• Nursing students may substitute clinical rotation for requested experience.
• Military medical service background considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under an RN supervision, including vital signs, daily living activities, and transfers.
• Report abnormal findings to an RN and document changes.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly and assist with monitoring devices.
