Job summary

Banner Health in partnership with the University of Arizona Health Network seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiologist for a busy, multi-disciplinary program in Tucson, AZ.

The successful candidate will engage in clinical care ranging from heart failure patients to transplant and device therapies, with opportunities for research and academic appointments consistent with credentials.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology.
• Candidate is currently active in care of heart failure patients.
• Team oriented and adaptable.
• Strong commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Shift based, FTE role.
• Average daily patient load 4-6 per half day; outpatient load 4-6 per half day.
• Case/procedure types: Right heart catheterization, CardioMems implantation, Left Heart catheterization.
• 10 weeks heart failure call, in equal rotation with clinical peers.
• If desired, participation or lead clinical translation research.
