Banner Health in partnership with Banner University Medical Center Tucson seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiologist to join the Cardiovascular Medicine division. The role focuses on heart transplant, mechanical support devices, and invasive hemodynamics within a fast-changing, research-academic environment, with potential academic appointments.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology
• Active involvement in care of heart failure patients
• Team oriented and adaptable

Responsibilities

• Shift based, FTE role
• Average daily patient load 4-6 per half day; outpatient load 4-6 per half day
• Case/procedure types: Right heart catheterization, CardioMems implantation, Left Heart catheterization
• 10 weeks heart failure call, in equal rotation with clinical peers
• Participation in clinical or translational research if desired
