Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Tucson (in partnership with Banner University Medicine) seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiologist. The successful candidate will join a fast-changing, research-academic environment with expertise in heart transplant, mechanical support devices, and invasive hemodynamics.

The role is shift-based, with an average outpatient and inpatient load, and opportunities to lead or participate in clinical and translational research

Qualifications

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology.
Active involvement in care of heart failure patients.
Strong commitment to patient care.
Team oriented and adaptable.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology care.
Participate in clinical/translational research.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Perform invasive procedures: Right heart catheterization, CardioMEMS implantation, Left heart catheterization.
