Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Heart Failure clinical specialist in the United States, based in California. You will be the primary clinical contact for territory customers, providing training on Abbott products and supporting implants to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires a nursing or medical background with 3–5 years in heart failure, and involves collaboration with sales, education, marketing and clinical teams across the region.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years heart failure experience or equivalent preferred.
• Background in Nursing, Circulatory Support or Cardiology.
• Undergraduate Degree in Nursing or some other medical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key clinical contact for assigned territory customers.
• Train and educate customers on Abbott products per approved materials.
• Attend implants to provide clinical support.
• Plan and execute strategies to improve clinical outcomes and business objectives within territory.
• Manage monthly reports, expense reporting and data entry for territory processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support customer education and service.
