Job summary

NYU Langone Health’s NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks a Program Manager to lead the Heart Failure Clinical Research Program, supervise coordinators and assistants, and ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practices and HIPAA.

You will manage IRB submissions, study budgets, regulatory reporting, data management, and liaise with sponsors while guiding the research team to maintain high productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years coordinating clinical/research trials with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interface with management across levels and work in a team environment.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Certification is preferred (may be required in some disciplines).
• Flexible work hours, if required (outside 9am-5pm hours).

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting and financial reporting for trials.
• Coordinate IRB submissions and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor study timelines and ensure timely execution of protocols.
• Lead and mentor research coordinators and project assistants.
• Prepare progress reports for funding agencies and sponsors.
• Ensure data accuracy and reporting in CRMS/clinical systems.
