Hire Consulting Services seeks a Cardiologist (Heart Failure Specialist) in Indiana to lead comprehensive heart failure care across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role emphasizes advanced HF management, GDMT protocols, and collaborative practice with ANPs/ PAs within a dynamic team.

The position offers a high base salary aligned with MGMA benchmarks, substantial wRVU incentives, sign-on negotiability, relocation options, and robust CME and licensure support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship.
• Fellowship training or specialized clinical focus in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology.
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease; BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure.
• Active or eligible for state medical license, DEA, and state controlled substance registrations.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive heart failure management across inpatient consult services and outpatient heart failure clinic settings.
• Diagnose and treat complex cardiomyopathies and advanced heart failure using GDMT and modern clinical protocols.
• Manage outpatient IV diuretic administration and utilize remote hemodynamic monitoring technologies to adjust treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic workups including echocardiography, nuclear imaging, and diagnostic right heart catheterizations.
• Provide physician oversight and guidance for Heart Failure Advanced Practice Providers within a collaborative practice.
• Partner with Structural Heart, EP, Cardiac Rehab, Palliative Care, Dietitians for holistic patient care.
• Lead health system initiatives focused on readmission reduction, GDMT optimization, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with general cardiologists, PCPs, and hospitalists to streamline referral care pathways.
