Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Academic appointment eligible; teaching and research experience required.
• Formal training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation preferred.
• Leadership and collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative care for heart transplant and VAD patients.
• Collaborate with cardiology and cardiac surgery teams across regional centers.
• Engage in research and teaching activities for academic appointment.
• Contribute to a patient-centered, innovative heart failure program.
